Paul Turnbaugh has been painting his whole life. Born and raised in Illinois, he moved to California where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After six years of west coast life, he returned to Illinois and happily resumed his heartlander status.
For the past 25 years, Paul has been an award-winning illustrator. Working for some of America’s premier corporations, publishers and ad agencies, his work has been published thousands of times.
Eventually, his love of hunting, fishing and all things outdoors found its way into his painting. He now enjoys painting the outdoors, as well as his corporate and publishing work.
Paul resides in West Dundee, IL with his wife Sharon, son Elliott, and his German Shorthaired Pointer Meg. When not in his studio painting, Paul can usually be found hunting or fishing.
"WildHeartland is built on the premise that creativity and quality come first."
